To help young members actively integrated into the party's vibrant international organisation, at a meeting on Saturday, April 4, we presented a summary of what our Party is and what its concrete work is.

The Party is not a simple association of individuals, held together by a sum of personal opinions. It is the embodiment of the historical and programmatic continuity of the communist movement. The Party exists not as an organisation, but because we inherit and transmit a program shaped by past struggles and the objective evolution of the class struggle. What distinguishes our Party is the method by which it functions and the historical program it defends.

The Party is governed by organic centralism. It is the form of centralised unity of action that is naturally a shared program — visible to all — and not from any kind of formal democratic mechanism or bureaucratic command. Where democratic centralism depends on internal parliaments, voting, and competition of opinions, organic centralism is based on the unquestioning acceptance of the program — our doctrine, written by the history of modern class struggle with the blood of proletarians, by the lessons learned from multiple counter-revolutions, and which in the experimental of history has proven immutable. This program guides the Party, not the center, not the rank and file.

Unity of action emerges organically from shared choice to adhere a historically rooted political line, and positions and responsibilities derives not from any vote count, but from the Party's needs and the capabilities of the characters. In this sense, no one lead and all are led, guided by the immutable Marxist doctrine.

The party is not a school, a club, or a reading group. It is a living, breathing organism. An indivisible unit parts develop according to the objective needs by the class struggle and the collective maturation of its members.

For this reason, we reject all forms of culturalism and educationalism. New comrades are not required to pass any exams, a certain knowledge of Marxism, or show off their reading. What matters is to adhere to the program and active participation in the collective work.

The Communist Party is not an internally undifferentiated body and has its own hierarchies. But these are not based on a predetermined role assigned; they arise from the recognition of the skills and to willingness work of individual comrades, and are not fixed. Based on the evidence of shared work and its growth, comrades, young and old, join together and alternate in various tasks, across time and space, without the need for any approval from above or below.

The party is not a sort of club for "Marxist scholars" to which intellectuals contribute their "training". The party is a disciplined collective commitment, measured over years and decades, an effort behind-the-some fruits of us, maybe all, will not see in our lifetimes, entrusting the continuation of the struggle to future generations of communists. The disciplined and impersonal nature of our method does not discourage us from our small numbers and current limited influence on the class. The party is a compact nucleus of comrades who understands that struggle is easy nor yields immediate visible results, but is the necessary work of defending and spreading the explosive Marxist doctrine all the world.

In the current state of disorientation of the class struggle, the work of the party tends to fulfil all its functions, quantitative proportionally in to its size.

As an International Party, one of its central tasks is the translation, editing, and publication of our texts in all languages spoken by the proletariat. In the English-language section alone, in North America and the United Kingdom, more than 80 texts have been translated in the past year. The person responsible for this work tracks, records, and typesets the translations for publication in print and on the website.

Our work continues through intervention in the unions—and in all mass organisations in which only proletarians can participate and which do not discriminate based on religious beliefs, political convictions, etc., but on the sole solely basis of wage earnings — with the aim of presenting the communists' immediate direction of struggle to the working class, disseminating the Party line, and by tending our influence among the masses of organised workers. Party militants within the unions form communist factions, rallying the most active and combative workers around them. Within the Unions, our task is overthrow to the reactionary union bureaucracy and the party's leadership within it.

This is by determined the strength and magnitude of the class struggle, and not achieved by simply by our will. It is important, however, that the party's voice be present all-out the vicissitudes of the class, struggle with the union faction—the party that the majority of workers know—remaining a light for the guiding class.

We must demonstrate how the tactics of the union bureaucracy fail or are insufficient, demonstrated in practice, not just preaching in the abstract, what the correct correct line be. This will encourage workers to their place trust in the Party's tactics and consequently, in its political program.

As for the work we clumsily call theoretical, we have currently a number of active groups. Comrades can join them to collaborate on party studies. But work can be done on any topic that interests a.

Of course, every contribution and every activity is collectively examined by the Party to ensure that it is in line with the doctrine and our well-tested tactical framework.

In our small but great party resides, in embryonic form, the living continuity of the proletarian struggle. It is written in our texts that the party is the prefiguration of communist society: its task is to foresee, anticipate the class. The class does not politically exist, as a class per se, without its political party. The party contains the consciousness of the proletariat, the entire history of the class struggle between capital and labor condensed into texts, these tactics, program, and doctrine.

Being a party militant means repudiating every aspect of this rotten and dying bourgeois society.
